Bio

Shivani Bhardwaj is an Assistant Professor of Paediatric Nursing and the Department Head of Child Health Nursing at Guru Nanak College of Nursing in Dhahan Kaleran, Punjab. She teaches a variety of topics ranging from neonatal resuscitation, integrated child development, management of child behavioural disorders and more.

Shivani Bhardwaj believes in developing a holistic understanding of the nursing profession among all her students, which then can serve as the foundation of curative care to patients.

Prior to her current position, she worked as a nursing tutor at Gee Bee Institute of Nursing and Health Sciences in Phagwara.

She received her diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from Ramgarhia Institute of Health and Science Research (RIHSR) in Phagwara, in 2016. After working at Narula Hospital in Phagwara for one year, she went on to complete her Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB BScN) from SGL Nursing College in Semi, Jalandhar in 2020. In 2022, she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing (MScN), with a focus on Child Health Nursing, also from SGL College of Nursing.

Her degrees at SGL College of Nursing were conferred by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Faridkot.

To further her professional development, Shivani Bhardwaj has participated in multiple additional workshops and training programs, including a 2-month course on paediatric basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), a workshop on neonatal health, a conference on forensic nursing and more.
