Guru Nanak College of Nursing is fully equipped to provide a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree, Post Basic BScN degree, and a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma as regulated by the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab and the Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Mohali. Our classroom environments are designed for medical learning.

Lecture halls

We have nine, well-ventilated classrooms for learning. Teachers use tools such as blackboards and projectors to help student learning.
Skill and simulation laboratories (i.e. labs)
The college provides practical, hands-on learning experiences to students. These begin in the form of simulation labs, before advancing to real-world practice in the nearby hospital.
In total, the college has five labs. They include:

Anatomy Lab

The above labs are meant to simulate real-world situations, such as working critical care units or in rural settings. They are equipped with sufficient learning tools like:

- Dummies (i.e. mannequins)
- Wash-basins
- Ventilator models
- Monitors
- Computers
- Community maps
- Cooking equipment
And more.
In these labs, students learn:
- Administration of tube feeding
- Tracheostomy
- Gastrostomy
- Intravenous (IV) injection
- Intramuscular injection (IM) injection
- Basic life support (BLS)
- Newborn resuscitation
And much more.
Computer lab

A computer lab connected to the Internet is available for academic purposes. Students may use the computers for research and homework assignments.
Audio visual aids room

To facilitate learning, an audio visual room is equipped with technological equipment such as TVs, projectors, laptops, photocopier and other tools to provide a modern educational environment. It also contains chart and poster materials.
Multipurpose hall
A multipurpose hall is used to conduct examinations, and to hold educational conferences, workshops or other events.
Library

A college library is open for student and faculty use. It contains up-to-date books, national and international nursing journals, magazines, leading newspapers and other medical and educational literature.
Students may check out library materials with permission.
The college also has access to the e-library at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot (called HS LIBNET).
School transportation

School buses are used to transport students to and from field trip learning sessions, rural health care outreach, and other activities.
Faculty rooms

Faculty-dedicated rooms and offices are made available. Students may make appointments with their instructors.
100-bed hospital

A real, functioning hospital is situated on the campus next to the nursing college. It has the capacity to hold 100 beds. It is called Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan-Kaleran.
Nurses perform their clinical practice and learning at the hospital.

Sometimes, students are sent to affiliated hospitals to learn specific skills, or to ensure quality student-to-teacher ratio. Affiliated hospitals at Guru Nanak College of Nursing include:
