Bio
Manpreet Kaur is a teacher of midwifery and gynaecological nursing at Guru Nanak College of Nursing in Dhahan Kaleran, Punjab. She has taught in the baccalaureate, diploma and post basic programs.
Manpreet Kaur enjoys imparting knowledge to her students, which she feels is essential for living a healthy life. When it comes to gynaecology and child birth, she feels it is ever more important for young women to understand their reproductive systems, in order to prevent health issues. She herself is a mother and, having gone through the experience of child birth, hopes to ensure other mothers receive the care they need during delivery.
Prior to her current position, Manpreet Kaur worked as a teacher at Phoenix Nursing Institute (i.e. Phoenix The Global Institute of Nursing) in Jalandhar, from May, 2019 to November, 2020. There, she taught General Nurse Midwifery (GNM) and Post Basic nursing classes.
Manpreet Kaur completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from Swami Premanand College Of Nursing in Mukerian, in 2017. She worked as a staff nurse for one year at Capitol Hospital in Jalandhar, from 2018 to 2019.
She completed an online, healthcare development course from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, in 2021.
