Bio
Mandeep Kaur is a nursing tutor who has been working with Guru Nanak College of Nursing in Dhahan-Kaleran, Punjab, since 2022. She teaches anatomy and physiology to students in their second year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program. She also teaches medical surgical nursing to students in their second year of the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) program.
Mandeep Kaur enjoys helping students achieve their goals in the nursing profession. Her classes help students learn how disease arises in the body. She says that, by better understanding the body’s mechanisms, nurses can appropriately help their patients with both curative and preventative care.
She enjoys teaching because it keeps her learning as well; the spark of ideas never gets dry when she’s exploring topics with her students. To that end, she appreciates her role as a guide and cultivator of curiosity to her students.
Mandeep Kaur graduated with a GNM diploma from Christian Hospital in Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Haryana, in 2013. She later went on to receive her Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree at Dr. J.P. Sharma Memorial School & College of Nursing in Yamunanagar, Haryana in 2022. Her degree was conferred by Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences in Rohtak, Haryana.
Before embarking on a teaching career, Mandeep Kaur acquired five years experience in her field. She worked at:
- Nirmal Hospital, in Yamunanagar, from July 2013 to October, 2013
- Thakur Hospital, in Karnal, from November, 2013 to February, 2014
- Mukand Lal Civil Hospital and Trauma Centre in Yamunanagar, from February, 2014 to March, 2015

- Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan Kaleran, from April, 2016 to October, 2016
