Jaspreet Kaur is a teacher of child health nursing and sociology at Guru Nanak College of Nursing in Dhahan Kaleran, Punjab.
Jaspreet Kaur teaches Applied Sociology, Child Health Nursing, Essential Newborn Care, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illness (IMNCI) and Paediatric Life Support (PLS).
She worked from 2009 to 2013 as a student nurse, and one year as a staff nurse at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan-Kaleran. She began her teaching career in 2015 at Guru Nanak College Of Nursing.
Jaspreet Kaur is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program at Guru Nanak College of Nursing, where she now works. Her degree was granted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
In 2018, she completed a year-long social service worker program at Selkirk College in Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada. She also participated in a faculty development course hosted by Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Jaspreet Kaur is passionate about training the best, most caring nurses. She especially emphasizes the importance of two-way communication between nurses and patients. Thus, she trains her students to be good listeners.
